The short version
- We collect only what we need to fill and protect your order: your email address, the order details, the blockchain data of your payment and basic checkout data, such as the country your connection comes from.
- We don't ask for your country, and you don't need an account with us.
- We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Who we are
Unboxkey operates unboxkey.com and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@unboxkey.com.
What we collect
- Email address, to send your license, order updates and replies to your questions.
- Order details: the product, edition, price, coin, network, order ID and the times of each order step.
- Payment data from the blockchain: the amount, the transaction hash (TxID) and the sending address. This data is public on the blockchain by design.
- Your name, only when a developer needs the license holder's name to issue the license.
- Your messages to support, and anything you attach to them.
- Checkout data: when you create or report an order, we store the country your connection comes from (as Cloudflare reports it), whether you use a phone or a computer (from your browser's user agent), the page you ordered from, the site language and, if your browser shares it, the page that sent you to us. We use it to spot fraud and to understand where orders come from.
- Technical data: when you visit the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
We don't ask for your country, ID documents or bank card details.
How we use it
- To buy and deliver the license you ordered.
- To email you about your order, refunds and support requests.
- To match your payment to your order and to send refunds.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the records the law requires.
- To see, in total, where orders come from and which pages lead to them.
We use your data because it is needed to fill the order you placed, because the law requires it, or to protect the service from fraud and improve it.
Who we share it with
- The developer or authorized dealer we buy your license from: only what is needed to issue it, such as your email address or name. Their own privacy policy applies to the data they receive.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and our order system and protects them.
- Telegram, which our team uses to receive order notifications with the details needed to process the order.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies that are strictly necessary to protect the site. The checkout may keep your current order in your browser's local storage so the page still works if you reload it. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
- Order records: as long as we need them to fill the order, handle refunds and meet accounting and tax rules. Then we delete them.
- Support emails: as long as we need them to resolve your request and any related order.
- Technical logs: kept by Cloudflare for a limited time under its own policies.
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. Nobody, including us, can delete them from the blockchain.
Where your data is processed
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. We choose providers that publish how they protect the data they process.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it (unless the law requires us to keep it), or to limit or object to how we use it. Write to support@unboxkey.com from the email address you used for your order. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
The site and our order system use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only people who need order data to fill orders can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as we can. We will never ask for your account passwords, your wallet's seed phrase or a private key.
Children
Unboxkey is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
